Paddle Materials and Construction

AquaDynamic composite paddles are compression molded with care and the finest materials. Our paddles are strong, light, comfortable to use, and durable. We custom build child and adult sizes with specified lengths and offset angles.

Paddle blades made with carbon and kevlar fiber are strong and light. The vinyl ester resin we use in every blade enhances durability. All paddle blades are asymmetrical, with a flattened power face to reduce flutter.

Carbon and fiberglass shafts are tough and light and have comfortable oval grips. The 6061-T6 aluminum shafts with plastic sleeves and optional indexing rib are durable and easy to grip. Adult touring paddles have two piece shafts.
